Inside An Executive Jet

The term “executive jet” can invoke images of opulence and power.  In fact, the most famous executive jet belongs to the CEO of the United States, the President.  While the President’s jumbo jet, Air Force One, has every imaginable feature, most executive jets are designed with a specific purpose in mind.  Space inside the cabin is at a premium, and jet owners must work carefully with interior designers and engineers to craft a space that is as luxurious as it is functional.

The interior of executive jets varies as greatly as the purpose for which they are intended.  Jets owned by celebrities and socialites may take on an entertainment function with movie screens, cocktail bars, and theater style seating.  Business oriented jets often sacrifice play space for work space.  International travelers, accustomed to very long flights, may forgo the boardroom in favor of lavish bathrooms and bedrooms.

Regardless of the reason for the interior design, the uniting principle behind executive jets is that they are created for the most functional and the most comfortable use.
